General Terms & Conditions
These terms and conditions apply to any travel product and/ or services purchased from KARL ADVENTURE TOURS.
The client acknowledges that it is his responsibility to ensure that he/ she is in possession of the necessary valid travel documents, Identification cards, passports, visas, vaccination certificate etc, as Karl adventure tours will not be held liable for expenses incurred if the travel documentation does not meet the required criteria.
Comprehensive travel and medical insurance is compulsory for guest booking with Karl adventure tours. The client acknowledges that it is his responsibility to take insurance. The client undertakes to take comprehensive travel insurance to cover his/ her own personnel requirements.
3.BOOKING AND PAYMENT
All bookings can be made by E-mail, phone or visit to our offices and are only confirmed after a 70% deposit of the total amount has been paid.
Balance should be paid not later than 30days before the commencement of the safari/tour. In the event of a booking less than 30days prior to the commencement of the safari/tour, payment in full is to be made upon booking the safari/tour.
Payments should be made either by Lipa na M-pesa, Visa, PayPal, MasterCard through transfer to Karl adventure tours bank account to be provided. Credit card payment will attract a 5% bank surcharge. Should a cheque issued by the client be returned by the bank for any reason the client shall replace within two days with certified funds. Returned cheque will be charged USD 50.00.

Cancellation or reduction in the number of days must be notified in writing and will take effect the day it is received by Karl adventure tours. Cancellation fee will be due and payable as below:
Between 61 & 75 days, 15% of the total cost will be charged
Between 45 & 60 days, 25% of the total cost will be charged
Between 31 & 45 days, 50% of the total cost will be charged
Between 30 days & No show 100% of the total cost will be charged
NOTE: No refund is available for cancellation after commencement of tour arrangements or on any services not used.
For internal flights within Kenya guests are advised to pack in soft bags with a maximum of 15kg per person, inclusive of hand luggage in soft bags.
A yellow fever certificate is required if the guest is arrivng from an inffected country.
7.CLAIMS AND DISPUTES
Any claims or disputes which may arise while on a tour should be reported to the tour guide or the office prior to the client departure in order to finalize the issue on the ground at the time. Where this is not possible then they are to be followed up in writing not later than 7 days after departure.
8.LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
You agree that in the event that services, transportation, accommodations, meals, or other elements of Karl adventure tours program are delayed, postponed, canceled or otherwise not provided, Karl adventure tours liability is limited to the provision of substitute or supplementary services, etc. as can be secured or provided at no additional cost to, or, in the alternative, to refunding to Group an amount not to exceed the anticipated cost to program of such services.
